PROJECT ARCHITECT

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience producing and coordinating design and construction documents (drawings, specifications, and consultant information)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution
• Licensed
• Demonstrated experience with Revit and AutoCad
• Familiarity with SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign)
• Have a strong interest in design
• Understand building codes/ADAAG
• Have an interest in sustainability and how it relates to the built environment
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills
• Focused on accuracy and detail-oriented
• LEED AP not required but preferred

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team to develop project scope and produce construction documents
• Understand and follow project contract requirements
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Submit for permits and coordinate responses to jurisdictions
• Communicate project information such as schedule, staffing needs and changes with Project Manager
• Assist in creating 3d visualizations/renderings and other presentation materials to illustrate design intent
• Work both collaboratively and independently to complete assignments on schedule
