Fired up by good design in any form, Terry landed in Oregon specifically for the UO architecture school’s integration with the fine arts department and interior architecture program. He loaded up on fine arts and sculpture classes, and barely missed accidentally acquiring a minor in interiors. He still feeds his creativity through many sources including visual art, music, and industrial design: everything is fair game for finding design inspiration. Terry is hands-on by nature and most content existing as the hinge between a project’s concept and fabrication, with a foot planted squarely in both the theoretical and the tangible.

Terry’s latest love is auto racing and he’ll make any sacrifice to get more time at Oregon Raceway Park, but if someone asks “Where’s Terry?” once the cold weather hits, odds are favorable that he’s making his way to the mountains. Chaperoning his kids’ Wilson High snowboarding team was one of his favorite activities and is greatly missed since they both graduated; now he must settle for the occasional Argento sandwich from the shop Shay works at in Old Town and controlling his lead foot when driving through downtown Milwaukie, where Tori is a cadet with their police department.
